How Words Work

This might sound weird, but we have no idea how words work. And this fact (our ignorance) causes a lot of problems when learning Spanish. At least it did/does for me. Have you ever had a problem with “saber” and “conocer”? Confused them with each other? They both supposedly mean “to know”. But that’s what I’m talking about! “Saber” and “conocer” DON’T both mean “to know”. Watch this video. When it’s done, you’ll know what I’m talking about.
